The Hamilton Khaki X-Wind featured in this product video was filmed on a reflective, black glass tabletop with minimalistic lighting. Just a couple of small, focusable desktop lamps provide the shaped light and high, dramatic contrast that I was looking for to show off this product. The lights are NEXT LED’s with magnetic bases that I attach to a three pound barbell weight for stability on the tabletop. Their long goosenecks allow them to be easily positioned to create the desired cone of light. The light intensity can be regulated to provide exactly the right illumination.
The watch itself is a work of art with many features that lend themselves to macro videography, not only on the face of the watch, but on the back side where the mainspring, gear train, escapement and a balance wheel can be seen in motion.
The music and professional narration add to the drama of the video, making it a unique, convincing and informative promo.
