A one-of-a-kind, timely and inspirational video filled with hope and promise of a better tomorrow that will lift your spirits at a time of deep challenges as these young singers from Congregation Ner Tamid in Palos Verdes, CA combine voices in a powerful testimonial to the strength in unity and working together.

Singers filmed themselves on their cellphones while listening to a master sound track created by Cantor Rachel Goldman. In post production the singers’ individual videos were synchronized and edited into a grid of eight squares by cinematographer Marc Gold of 24KT Sound & Video. A final audio track was engineered adding orchestration to create this musically rich, striking anthem that’s on its way around the world, inspiring hope and opening people’s hearts to the power of working in unison. Unexpected comic relief and a generous spritz of holy water bring welcome relief from the heat at Tom & Pina’s wedding ceremony. Holy Trinity Church and The Elks Lodge, both in San Pedro, are the venues for this very brief video highlight.

Pina felt faint during the ceremony just before taking her vows and remained seated from that point on. Tom’s quick-witted humor had guests’ immediate approval, but was upstaged by the priest who stole the show with an impromptu gesture to cool the bride down. Enjoy!

Life History Video Production…A window to the past through the eyes of our favorite elders.

My client, and now dear friend, Dvorah Colker, speaks about her world as it was in the 1930’s and beyond:  the pogroms in Europe, her family’s escape from the holocaust, the great depression, listening to Franklin Roosevelt on the radio and rotary dial phones. (What??)

This is living history…an eye-witness journey through 90 years of a life well lived, family folklore and remarkable experiences as told by a truly great story-teller.

Dvorah and I had four recording sessions together at her home in Los Angeles. She spoke easily about family, about life and death, at times emotionally, as she shared with me an intimate account of her wisdom-filled life, so that her great grandchildren might understand what she stood for. Thank you, Dvorah, for the experience and the joy of knowing you.

1.5 minute welcome video to the South Bay’s premier business networking group for business professionals. Boasting a loyal membership of 40+ businesses, some of which have been in the group for 25 years, conducts meetings on Tuesday mornings, 7:00 a.m. at the Sizzler Restaurant located at 2880 Sepulveda Blvd., Torrance, CA 90505. A congenial, welcoming group of people to be sure. Breakfast buffet served at each meeting. Come as my guest and meet a great group of people. Emotionally powerful, elaborate photo montage celebrating the life of a beloved sister shown recently at her Rose Hills, CA memorial service. “Not a dry eye in the room at the video’s conclusion” according to our client. The memorial montage, which runs five minutes, was created in SmartShow 3D.

My client came to me with her project about a week before the memorial service. We met in person to receive her photos and so that I could learn more about her sister who had recently passed. I wanted to explore the client’s ideas about what the finished video should look like in terms of its style. In our conversation I found out that her sister was fond of balloons, bubbles and hearts so I worked those into the background of the video. A “cross” needed to be worked into the video along with some spiritually-themed text. Photos were scanned, color-corrected, cropped and animated.

Here’s the client’s response after the video was shown:

The video played perfect.  There was not a dry eye in the church.  It was just beautiful.  I can’t thank you enough!!
