My history with CNT goes back more than 40 years to the days when I taught Israeli folk dancing at the synagogue. Many bar & bat mitzvahs and weddings later, CNT is still a favorite place to film. Many thanks to my friends at CNT for permission to record this event.
The rest of the evening’s events, the havdalah service and awards presentations, appear in part two of the video soon to be posted. It’s worth mentioning that HighCam is only one tool used to film events; it’s a specialty camera for high-angle, elevated shots. For more traditional shots, a professional Sony video camera is used. The footage from both cameras is then combined during the editing process.
