Business video and seminars – Why two cameras? When you’ve only got one camera, you film the presenters. When you’ve got two, you film the presenters with one and plenty of B-Roll with the other, i.e., the attendees and their involvement in the presentation.
It’s about enhancing visual interest. It’s also about keeping the viewer’s attention longer. Shots like an on-camera nod of approval, a smile, an applause or even a frown show the audience’s emotional commitment to the program, quite simply, make the video more interesting to watch.
It’s up to the corporate videographer to provide the editor the kinds of b-roll shots you’ll see in this video. It’s the videographer’s mind-set that, from the start of filming, determines what’s done with the cameras and how impactful the result will be. See this in effect as you watch this video.
