Letterhead Factory…Their motto is “We print anything on paper!” and they do…expertly, quickly and affordably. They’ve been my printer for years, so I’m happy to film this fast-paced business promo for Rick Rice and his company. More text below the video…
An esteemed colleague of mine recently told me that too many high-angle shots in the same video gets tedious, and I have to agree with him. So, if you watch this video closely you’ll see few really high overhead shots, just a few for a little ‘seasoning’, so to speak, even though the whole video was filmed with HighCam. (It’s just too much fun, and I can’t put it down).
Yes, it’s called HighCam because it’s incredibly capable at getting high, overhead shots, but it also does extremely well with more traditional, eye-level shots and extreme closeups! In other words, apart from its unique filming abilities it can do what you can do with a tripod, monopod and a hand-held camera all in one tool, while behaving like a drone (up to a height of 15′ or so), and weighing less than a typical camcorder. But here’s the thing…it’s just so smooth and stable while panning around, thanks, in part, to the internal stabilization of the camera and the balance of the HighCam pole, it mimics the motion of a professional jib. HighCam is just simply rock steady!
In case you didn’t already know, I’ll gladly film for you with HighCam even if you’re another production company. You’ll enjoy the new, higher perspective.
