Emotionally powerful, elaborate photo montage celebrating the life of a beloved sister shown recently at her Rose Hills, CA memorial service. “Not a dry eye in the room at the video’s conclusion” according to our client. The memorial montage, which runs five minutes, was created in SmartShow 3D.
My client came to me with her project about a week before the memorial service. We met in person to receive her photos and so that I could learn more about her sister who had recently passed. I wanted to explore the client’s ideas about what the finished video should look like in terms of its style. In our conversation I found out that her sister was fond of balloons, bubbles and hearts so I worked those into the background of the video. A “cross” needed to be worked into the video along with some spiritually-themed text. Photos were scanned, color-corrected, cropped and animated.
